Sporting Rifle is an excellent read with stories related particularly to the hunting and stalking fraternity, from uk mainland to foray's into Northern Europe and further afield like South Africa.
The stories are informative and reflect real situations with both successful and unsuccessful outcomes. The author's of these stories are clearly experienced and confident in their field and one can always draw lessons from their yarns.
Sporting Rifle have struck the right balance between the cover price of above £4.00, which in itself is not too expensive, set against other names which are cheaper but fill a fair proportion of their pages with junk advertising.
