I was very pleased with the subscription deal - excellent value for money. The goodie bag was very welcome, as I needed a new stand and had been thinking about a new tuner!

Re subscribed after missing the Janurary issue. Goodie bag arrived very quickly, but was very unsure as to when the actual magazine would arrive. but it dropped through the door just the other day(Friday)This magazine has a new everything,New Editor, Much improved on gear reviews as now reviewing gear the average reader can afford whilst still looking at the quality gear as well. Paper quality has dropped a little but that is quite understandable if trying to cut costs. Great artist interviews and the technique pages much improved and easier to know which section you need to go to. In general maybe much happier with the new image and Lay out. Big fan, love your work.

The publishers really do read these. I had an email and follow up call from Krista in subscriptions and I have now received the goody bag from the current subscription.

I've been buying this mag for years, I've even previously been a subscriber direct with the magazine though it lapsed some time ago. It is much better value mag than the US 'Bass Player' which is a poor thin thing full of adverts. Oh, and I got my goodies right along with the first subscription copy (nice little stand and another lead is always useful...). What's not to like (apart from the occasional lapse like the missing Lull review in this issue...)
Who to subscribe through - and does anyone ever get the goodies?

The magazine is excellent, but I am getting very confused by the fact that every couple of months I seem to get a subscription offer from a different source. And I have never received any of the goodies offered for subscribing - from memory that should have been at least a set of Rotosound strings and a bass hanger and probably others I have forgotten

I've just finished reading my first issue of Bass Guitar Magazine. An excellent read, and hard to find fault. I hope that in a future edition I'll find a discussion on string gauges and their application to different genres.
